Tented Camps - If you like the idea of camping out but don’t want to sacrifice comfort and service- try a tented camp. With large tents fitted out with beds, ensuite bathrooms and verandah areas- these camps offer a safari in style.

Camps and Bandas - To really experience Kenya under canvas there are plenty of well appointed campsites in holiday areas all over the country- often with tent rental available. Sometimes simple, self-catering bandas are also available. KWS have excellent Bandas available for hire throughout the country at very affordable prices.

Homestays and Houses - In some areas, local people let out rooms or guesthouses. This is an economical and interesting way to spend a holiday- and a great way to experience some other Kenyan cultures firsthand. Individual houses can be rented for short term lets in holiday areas- an excellent option for large families or groups of friends.
